Once those spots are filled or the booking window closes, Studio Books will remain closed until the next monthly release.

how it all works
FROM BOOKING TO YOUR DOOR
A new way to book SBS, designed to keep things simple. Reserve your service during the monthly booking window, send your hair or unit to the Studio, and we’ll take it from there. Here’s what to expect from start to finish.
01 — RESERVE YOUR SPOT
Choose your service and complete your purchase during the current booking window. A limited number of service slots are released each month and your slot is officially reserved once payment is complete. Once all available slots are purchased, books are closed for that service period.
02 — CHECK YOUR INBOX
After booking, you’ll receive an email with everything you need for your order, including the current SBS shipping address, shipping instructions, important deadlines and preparation requirements for your hair or unit.
Always use the shipping address provided with your current order. SBS shipping locations may change, so please do not reuse an address from a previous order.
03 — SEND YOUR HAIR
Package and ship your client-provided hair or existing wig according to the instructions in your confirmation email. All hair must arrive by the stated deadline to remain within your selected service period.
For Custom Construction, all hair and lace must be provided by the client and should already be in the desired color. SBS does not offer custom coloring services.
04 — MYRIAH RECEIVES & REVIEWS
Once your package arrives, SBS will confirm receipt and review your hair or unit to ensure everything needed to complete your selected service has been provided.
If there are any concerns with the condition of the hair, missing materials or the requested service, you’ll be contacted before work begins.
05 — YOUR UNIT ENTERS PRODUCTION
Now it’s my turn ✨ Your unit enters the Studio production queue for your booked service period.
Depending on your service, your unit will be constructed, reconstructed, customized, maintained and/or styled according to your order. Orders are completed within the production window stated at booking.
06 — production timeline
Booking Window: Approx. 1-2 weeks before the service month
Hair Received By: 10th of the service month
Production: 11th–25th
All Orders Shipped By: Last business day of the service month
Example — October Studio Books
- Sept. 27–Oct. 5: October service slots available to book
- By Oct. 10: Hair/unit must be received
- Oct. 11–25: October production
- By Oct. 30: All finished orders shipped
Your purchase date does not begin your turnaround time. Return shipping/transit time is not included in the production timeline.
07 — FINAL DETAILS & QUALITY CHECK
Before leaving the Studio, your finished unit receives its final styling and quality check to make sure it’s ready to wear and meets SBS standards.
08 — YOUR ORDER IS ON THE WAY
Once complete, your unit is carefully packaged and shipped back to the return address provided with your order. You’ll receive tracking information by email so you can follow it all the way home.
09 — RECEIVE & ENJOY
She’s back—and better. Your finished SBS unit arrives ready for you to wear, slay and enjoy.
